Just when I thought it was safe to go back to Mecca Cosmetica, Too Faced Cosmetics bring out this scented palette, Peanut Butter Honey Eyeshadow Palette.
As you can see from Dulce Candy’s video below, the more golden skin tones suit the Peanut Butter Honey Eyeshadow palette.
Americans do love their peanut butter with sweet toppings, but I’m not so sure about this one. I went into Mecca and checked it out. It’s packaging is cute and collectable like all the Two Faced palettes, but I don’t think that this is a wearable as the Peach Palette or the Boudoir Palette.
I think for deeper skin tones this eyeshadow palette would be beautiful but, for me, with pale skin and blue eyes this would be a total miss, in my humble opinion. The purple “Jelly” colour is definitely a purple/eggplant colour, and I can see someone with darker skin wearing this. I like the base colour “Spread the Love” for my skin tone (pale/pinkish), but everything else is just way too golden and I’d need a fake tan to pull this off.
I had a look for blondes wearing it online and there were only a few, including the quirky grav3yardgirl and super effervescent livloveshermakeup.
I think you can see what I mean about the colour and pale skin. Yes, it brings out blue eyes but I just can’t see the purple working.
