Rihanna has finally launched the biggest anticipated and lust-after line of makeup, Fenty Beauty.Rhianna, signed a deal back in 2016 withKendo (LVMH), who also have in their stable Marc Jacobs and Kay Von D.

It has been definitely worth the wait, with the formulations just divine and packaging just-so. An Instagram teaser clip was posted on Labor Day USA (because even on Labor Day you know Rihanna is going to work work work work work), excitement for the cosmetics built until the range was released.
Rhianna, released an entire line of products, which is different to say, Kylie Cosmetics. I believe it shows thorough marketing, quality control, originality of colours and packaging. The range includes the slust-haves of lip gloss, highlighter, lipstick and glittery eyeshadow, and at the Facebook official launch with Rhiri herself was being a makeup artist through the event. I think this shows her hands on approach with the range.
Rihanna has said on Instagram there would be a whopping 40 different shades of foundation, in a brave move towards inclusivity. I remember when I started my range 8 years ago I tried to have some darker colours, however they sat in inventory while other colours flew of the shelf. I think however in the USA quite often women of colour are overlooked. Her quote she’s “gotta represent for my girls and we come in all shades.”
During the Facebook live event, Rihanna said, “I wanted everyone to feel included.”
The gorgeous packaging is luxuriously but clean and sophisticated in the millenial pink. The range was designed by award-winning boutique agency Manhattan based Established, Sam O’Donahue and Becky Jones.
