A legendary makeup artist has designed the most lust-worthy lipsticks of the year: Pat McGrath MatteTrance

Pat McGrath MatteTrance Inspiration

The complete MatteTrance collection references Pat’s inspiration and motivation. There are nine shades, three of which are named after some of McGrath’s model muses: Omi, a rich, dark nude shade is inspired by Naomi Campbell. The bright red called Elson is named after Karen Elson. McMenamy, a reddish-brown is inspired by 90’s supermodel Kristen McMenamy. “I’m always obsessed,” McGrath tells us, which is why she named her bright orange lipstick Obsessed. And 1995, is a beige nude that McGrath says was a pivotal year for her.

Limited Edition – Better Get in Fast

While MatteTrance lipsticks were inspired by supermodels, the collection is designed for everyone.
Pat McGrath describes the texture as matte, but with the “feel of a satin and the look of a velvet”.
The lipsticks can be purchased one their own, in sets of three or as an entire collection. If you love them you’d better get in quick because Pat McGrath’s collection is strictly limited edition and if history is anything to go by, they will sell out fast.
