As a fan of the hit TV show Game of Thrones, these stunning and vibrant images warmed my “Thrones” star-struck heart. With my total girl crush on Emilia Clarke / Daenerys Targaryen, her image was the first to grab me but all the cast member characters, despite hair and makeup differences to the low light, in costume, still reflect the unique nature of their character.
Time Magazine has published an opulent Game of Thrones cast photo shoot. The baroque inspired images show the cast members we know and love (or love to hate) in a vibrant light. The images are the work of British photographer Miles Aldridge, known for his avant-garde style.
The beloved characters are clad in jewel tones, satin and rich coloured clothing with hair colour to reflect the look, and each cast member is accompanied by a fruit or flower.
The kitsch but elegant environment depicts the Game of Thrones actors in a new light and shows a different side of the characters.
